SMIC 2025 à Genève

En novembre 2020, le canton de Genève a instauré un salaire minimum visant à réduire la pauvreté causée par la précarité salariale, phénomène touchant les travailleurs à faible revenu. Ce salaire est ajusté chaque année en fonction de l’évolution du coût de la vie selon l'indice genevois des prix à la consommation. À partir du 1er janvier 2025, le salaire horaire minimum brut passera de 24.32 fr. à 24.48 fr. et concernera tous les secteurs économiques. Toutefois, sur recommandation du Conseil de surveillance du marché de l'emploi, un tarif spécifique a été fixé pour l'agriculture et la floriculture : actuellement de 17.87 fr., il augmentera à 17.99 fr.
